HUA Election Will Feature No Referenda or Survey Questions
The campaign for the Freshman Smoker Committee started as "the most conservative in history" and ended last night with a resounding bang.
Voting will take place today at the noon and evening meals. The Freshman Class will vote for eight of the 15 candidates, not in preferential order.
A loudspeaker, a band holding a jam session, Radcliffe girls and Yard cops helped add to the general confusion prevalent in the Union during the week.
The candidates for the committee are: William H. Aaron, George S. Abrams, Carmel J. Cohen, Howard L. Kastel, Martin K. King, Joshua M. Levin, Harold S. Levy, H. Lester Medlinsky, Reid B. Morrison, Albert E. Neisser, Bruce D. Phillips, Dirk H. Post, Robert L. Shapiro, Thomas W. Tavenner, and Leonard B. Weingarten.
