Yardling intramural basketball in the National League started last night. Grif Buttnick was high scorer for the league with 12 points. His shooting gave Mower its 22 to 16 win over Wigglesworth West. Hollis defeated Thayer North, 22 to 10. Nelson Lampert was high man for Hollis with eight points.

Straus South took Grays, 18 to 11. Captain John Pereira paced Massachusetts with 11 points and gave his team a 19 to 13 victory over Weld North.
