Few Will Go to Princeton; Clubs to Have Open House

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Few students plan to attend the Princeton game this weekend, sources in the Athletic Association disclosed yesterday. For those who will be present, a varied program of entertainment is offered. Tiger clubs will also open their doors to visitors.

Frank O. Lunden, ticket manager of the H.A.A., refused to reveal how the sales were going, but it was learned that sales were so low that many tickets, reserved for students, were sold to alumni in New York.

Students can still get seats on the 10 to 20 yard lines.

Music Attractions

On Friday night at Princeton, music will take the limelight. The annual Harvard-Princeton Glee Club Concert will be held in Alexander Hall, and the Operotta Guild will perform Victor Herbert's "Sweethearts" in McCarter Theatre, just off University Place. A lecture on jazz by Barry Ulanov, editor of Metronome, will take place in Clio Hall. The talk will be supplemented by readings.

A gag debate, the subject of which has not yet been disclosed, is to be staged between the Harvard and Princeton debating groups in Whig Hall.

Some of the eating clubs will be open Friday to Harvard men. Beer and record music will be provided without charge.

Clubs Give Open Parties

Most of the clubs also open their doors to visitors Saturday night. The houses on Prospect Street will feature bands and dancing. However, those who want more than beer must bring their own drinks. The bar will serve set-ups and ice in cups, but no liquor.

The Undergraduate Dance, held in Dillon Gym Saturday, will cost $2.40. It is intended for Tiger men who don't belong to a club, but Harvard students may also attend. "Sweethearts" will run Saturday night, too.

Activities continue Sunday. The Right Wing Drinking Club plans a "polite party" in Kingston Armory Sunday afternoon. Admission is by ticket only, so those anxious to attend will have to corner a member and get a $4.00 pass from him. A jazz band will be featured and dancing and drinking are expected to last into the evening.
