The Debate Council will argue the merits of British socialism as the best defense against Communism with an English team in New Lecture Hall on December 12. William Becker '51, Council president, announced last night that tryouts for this debate will be held November 28 in Lamont Forum Room.

The English team, composed of two members from the Universities of Birmingham and Wales, is currently touring the Mid-West.
