Placement Office Will Open Job Conferences

A series of informal conferences on opportunities in specific businesses and professions will start next Wednesday at Weld Hall. William M. Pinkerton, director of the University News Office, will launch the series with a discussion of careers in newspaper work.

These small conferences are intended to be supplementary to the annual Conference on Careers, given in February and March. Only eight or ten men need inform the Placement Office of their interest in a field to have a discussion arranged with someone actually engaged in the work.
