Radcliffe Revises A.A. Point System

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Radcliffe's Athletic Association revised the point system in club sports at its meeting last night. All members of a team participating in a club game will receive ten points by the new system, whether or not their team wins.

By the former system, members received 30 points by playing on the winning team, 20 points for finishing second, and ten points for third.

As the new plan stands, club participants will receive no bonus points for playing on winning team sports, though in individual sports the bonus points will still be credited to winning players.

The Athletic Council has passed on the revised system, and will present the plan for general vote in the near future. Club blazers, letters, and numerals go to members who total specified numbers of points.

Intramural sports, although run under the auspices of A.A., are not considered club games. Club contests are usually intercollegiate meets, in which club members act as a varsity squad.

A.A. members also selected Val Loring '52 and Sue Wern '53 to the vacated posts of publicity chairman and hostess, respectively.
