The Student Council's newly-formed Committee on Parietal Rules will try to meet with all seven Housemasters this week, and work out a practicable program for student entertainment of women.
Members of the committee--Roger V. Pugh, Jr. '51, Donald L. M. Blackmer '52, and Louis B. McCagg '52, of the Council, and Leonard J. Friedman '51 and John M. Goldstone '51, initiators of a petition to extend the deadline on women guests in House rooms to midnight on Saturday nights--made this decision at a meeting last night.
A proposal for a midnight deadline on the Yale and Dartmouth weekends was disapproved by the Faculty Committee on House two weeks ago.
