Gielgud Meets Thespians

John Gielgud, renowned British tragedian, joined members of the Theatre Group yesterday to sip claret at Fogg Museum. The actor, who is currently appearing in Boston in "The Lady's Not For Burning," asked the H.T.G. to keep the gathering small and informal.

Thirty of the University's theatrical elite came to honor the man whose interpretation of Hamlot is acclaimed as one of the best of the 20th century.

Gielgud's current acting and the excellence of the play have caused critics to anticipate a great success on Broadway later this month.
