Now more than ever the Phillips Brooks House blood drive must go over the top. To meet last year's needs, the drive collected 541 pints, the largest single bloodletting in the history of Massachusetts colleges. The need is greater this year.
Those who have already pledged to give at P.B.H. between December 11 and 15 have the satisfying knowledge that they have helped cushion personal tragedy either at home or abroad. They will also have the benefit of a free physical examination.
Students who hastily refused to pledge blood should consider while there is time. And if the man from P.B.H. has not shown up yet, treat him kindly when he comes. Today is the last day.
