Randall Will War on Wrong-Way Cyclists

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Alvin R. Randall, chief of University Police, is starting a war on bicyclists going up one-way Quincy Street the wrong way.

No disciplinary action will be taken yet, Randall said yesterday. "But the danger of serious accident should be warning enough to students," he added.

Dean Rogers called the attention of University Police to wrong-way bicyclists Monday, when he almost ran one down on Quincy Street.

Cambridge Police Department officials have stated that wrong-way bicyclists are subject to a $20 fine under City ordinances.
