Report on Advising Comes Out Tonight

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The bean's Office will submit two major documents to the Student Council tonight for Council investigation and opinion. First will come the Faculty Committee on Educational Policy's report on "Advising at Harvard," and following it will be a revised set of "Rules for Undergraduates Organizations."

The advising report, much heralded in faculty circles as a treatment of the problem of mass education in the College as well as of difficulties in conventional tutorial and advising, has been about a year and a half in preparation by a group of faculty members headed by Dean Bender.

The new "Rules" represents a second try by the Dean's office to reach an agreement with the Council on the controversial subject of regulation of extra-curricular groups.
