Med School Applicants

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Over 1,100 entrance applications for 110 places have been received by the Medical School the admissions office disclosed yesterday. Despite the draft, this number is only slightly higher than last year's figure.

New applications are now coming in at the rate of about five a day. Although the deadline isn't until March 1, comparatively few additional applications are expected after the end of this month.

Applications incomplete by March 1 are considered at that time, and decisions are made on the basis of available data. Each application is kept under consideration until all places are filled.

The School of Dental Medicine so far has 40 applications for 15 places.
