Two members of the Government Department will predict the fortunes of both the Democratic and Republican parties in the light of the November election at 8 p.m. tonight in the Kirkland Junior Common Room.
Samuel H. Beer, associate professor of Government, and McGeorge Bundy, lecturer in Government, will discuss the future of the administration's foreign policy in view of Republican gains in Congress.
Beer said last night that he will bring out the possibility of a server attack on administration foreign policy in the near future and renewed jobs by Senator Joseph McCarthy and his followers. Both Beer and Bundy expressed fears in forums Tuesday night that McCartbyism would have grave effects in the future because of its recent victory at the polls.
