Kirkland battles Winthrop and defending champion Eliot meets Leverett at 3:15 p.m. this afternoon for the last House football games that these teams will play this year.
Eliot, undefeated in two years, will boast the backfield running of Riley Gilbert and John MacNamara. Charles Cabot will quarterback and do the passing for the Elephant aerial attack.
Leverett has a record of two wins, three losses, and one tie. Sam Paschal, leading Bunny ground gainer and a constant scoring threat, is also probably the best punter in House football.
The Kirkland-Winthrop game should be more evenly matched, with the running attack of Kirkland's Slug Dolan going against the passing combinations of Winthrop's Walt Greeley and Dave Hernberg, each alternating on the passing and receiving. Both teams have a record of four wins and two losses.
