Stoughton, Lionel, and Hollis Halls, and Matthews South all racked up touch football wins on frigid Soldiers Field yesterday as the Yard intramural competition moved into its final weeks.
In the American League, undefeated Stoughton gave up its first touchdown of the season to Wigglesworth East, but went on to win the game, 12 to 6. Its number one rival for the American League championship, Lionel Hall, shellacked Straus North, 34 to 12.
In the National League Mower Hall took its sixth straight bow of the season, losing 13 to 6 to Matthews South, while Hollis won an easy one when Straus South failed to show up for the game.
Leverett came from behind to defeat Winthrop, 18 to 12, in a House touch game.
