Seniors bought out sections 33, 34, and 35 for the bottom three rows, in the first day of Yale ticket sales yesterday. This misses being the largest block one class has bought since 1941 by only four rows.

On the Tuesday of Yale game ticket sales in 1948, Soldiers field was sold out on both the home and visiting sides. Seniors took three full sections. The juniors and sophomores got seats between the 15 yard line and the goal. While freshmen were all up in the colonnades.
The Bowl in 1947 was also sold out the Tuesday before the game, with sales reaching nearly 80,000.
