M.I.T. beat the varsity sailors three out of four races in near darkness during the final eliminations of the Leonard M. Fowle Trophy yesterday at M.I.T.

In the semi-finals, Coast Guard lost to the Crimson to finish third, while M.I.T. beat Tufts, leaving the Jumbos in fourth place. Frank Scully, John Bishop, and Charlie Hoppin were skippers with Charlie McElroy and Jim Nathanson, alternates. John Gardner, Tom Chinlund, and John Newhall served as the crows.
