Yard Booters Meet Medford; Sprain Shelves '54 Ace Joyce

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Medford High School's strong soccer team will face a weakened freshman squad on the Business School Field at 2:30 p.m. today.

The Yardlings will play without the services of right wing Steve Joyce, the team's high scorer, who sprained his arm yesterday in practice, and hour exams will sideline first string left inside Juan Vollenweider and key substitutes halfback Dick Armstrong and forward Kurt Pollak.

The two teams have played one common foe. Exeter edged out Medford 2 to 1 and blanked the Crimson 3 to 0.
