Varsity, '54 Sailors to Compete for Trophies

Varsity sailors travel to Now London for the finish of the Eastern Intercollegiate Star Championships today and the Jack Wood Trophy Race on Sunday. Meanwhile, the Yardlings will race in the New England Freshman Dinghy Championships at M.I.T. today and tomorrow.

The varsity will send four boats with Frank Scully, Jim Bishop, Tom Carroll, and Charlie Hoppin as captains.

Two freshman boats will compete at M.I.T. Jim Nathanson captains the A-boat with Tom Tavenner as crew, and Tim Brown skippers the B-boat with John Newhall for his crew.
