G. Holmes Perkins '26, Charles Dyer Norton Professor of Regional Planning, will leave the University at the end of this term to become Dean of the Pennsylvania School of Fine Arts, the CRIMSON learned last night.
A member of the School of Design faculty since 1930, Holmes added greatly to the improvement and expansion of the Regional Planning department. He supervised an extensive project which investigated the architectural and population problems of Metropolitan Boston and suggested cures for them.
Architecture is one of four divisions under the administration of the School of Fine Arts at Penn.
