6 Professors to Talk At English Conference

Thornton Wilder, Charles Eliot Norton Professor of Poetry, and C> Crane Brinton '19, McLean Professor of Ancient and Modern History, will head a group of six University teachers participating in an English conference today at Brandeis University in Waltham.

Other Harvard participants include Philippe Le Corbeiller, professor of General Education, J. N. Douglas Bush, professor of English, Richard Wilbur, Briggs Copeland Assistant Professor of English Composition, and Sherman Paul teaching fellow in English.

The meeting--the Fall Conference of the New England College English Association--will hear Wilder tonight. If Corbeiller will speak in a panel discussion on "Humanism versus Safencal"
