Eliot Tower Gets New Paint Job; Dunster, Lowell Are Next in Line

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Eliot House ha a new coat of green paint on its tower, and next year Lowell or Dunster, or both, may also be repainted.

Cocil A Roberts. superintendent of buildings and grounds, yesterday explained that the House towers are supposed to be repainted every four years. Although both Dunster and Lowell are scheduled for next year, Roberts said, the University doesn't want to under take the job unless it is absolutely necessary.

"House exteriors are always being painted," Roberts said, "and the portions requiring bright colors require twice as much attention as the Dulles trim. We try to do the whole exteriors every six years, but sometimes we have to do them sooner."

Eliot is being painted now, and it should be finished within a month.
