Center forward Stan Loeb's goal early in the fourth period gave the freshman soccer team a 2 to 1 victory over M.I.T.
John Beer headed in a long pass from halfback Charlie Willett in the opening M.I.T.'s Mike Greenbaum quickly tied up the game in the second quarter. Loeb's winning goal was a high kick off the cross-bar on a pass down the middle.
The freshman played a better short passing game than against Brandeis, although the offense still seemed to lack scoring punch. Captain George Anderson played a good game at goal and he was aided greatly at defense by fullback Dave Rogers.
