The Army Glee Club, 90 strong, gave its first performance at Harvard last night in Sanders Theatre. An enthusiastic audience of about 500 listened to the Cadets and were cheering for more when the West Pointers walked off the stage at 10:10 p.m.
The singers began with "Salutation", a greeting that went "Hail, Friends of Music". They proceeded through a program that ranged from old English folk songs and Negro spirituals to Rodgers and Hamerstein ditties.
Second Licutenant Robert Dvorak conducted the club, assisted by cadet director J. R. Young.
