Jayvee Sailors Place Second in Basin Race

Jayvee sailors finished one point behind Baboon to take second in the Basin League Races at Tufts yesterday. Radcliffe's team finished fourth.

Henry Hornor captained the Javee's A-boat and Brad Richardson was crew. The B-boat was skippered by Dave Cabet with Bob Trumbull as crew. Radcliffe's boat was headed by Corrine Alberg and the crew was Joanne Callery.

The varsity sailing team will travel to Providence tomorrow for the Brow Fall Invitation Regatta. Charlie McElroy will be skipper of the A-boat with Tom Chinlund as crew. Charlie Hoppin will captain the B-boat and will have John Newhall for crew.

Dartmouth, M.I.T., Princeton, Coast Guard Academy. Yale, Rhode Island, and Brown are also in the regatta.

Sailing team members at home will race Mount Holyoke tomorrow.
