Two varsity cross-country team placed third in a triangular meet yesterday afternoon at Franklin Park. Brown was first with 34 points, and Boston University was second with 41 points. Harvard followed closely with 45 points.

Dave Gregory finished first for the Crimson, and fourth in the meet. Dick White was fifth, Dave Cairns, tenth, Paul Judy, 12th, and Hal Master, 14th.

All who placed bettered their times over last week, when they ran the same course. The Crimson team last week won its opening meet by defeating Brown and the defending New England Intercollegiate Champions, Rhode Island.

The freshmen lost to B.U. by a small margin, but won handily over Brown. B.U. tallied 30 points, Harvard 35, and Brown 57.

Maguire, Cameron, and San Soucie placed third, forth, and fifth respectively for Harvard. Gerry, ninth, and Phillips, 14th, rounded out the counting times.
