Crimson Is Low Eleven In Ivy League Rivalry

Theoritically, Harvard is not at the bottom of the Ivy League; Princeton has not yet played a league contest.

However, according to figures released yesterday by the Eastern College Athletic Conference, the Crimson eleven ranks last in team offense, and next to last in team defense. In the two games played so far this season, the varsity has averaged 157 yards offensively, and has given up 390 yards on defense. The defensive yield is second only to Dartmouth, which has allowed an average of 425.7 yards pergame in three games.

Princeton leads the league teams in offense with an average of 460.7 yards, and Cornell leads in defense, having yielded 407 yards in three games.

Cal Lowenstein, fifth among League punters with a 33.5 yard average, was the only Crimson player mentioned in the individual departments.
