Dean David of the Business School announced last night the establishment of a Wallace Brett Donham Professorship of Human Relations and the appointment of Fritz J. Roethlisberger, professor of Human Relations since 1946, to the new post. He has been with the school since 1929.
Former Dean Donham '98, Harvard Law '01, who heads the Harvard Yenching Institute today, headed the Business School from 1919 to 1942. Upon resigning as dean, he continued at Harvard as George F. Baker Professor of Administration until leaving for Colgate in 1948.
