HUA Election Will Feature No Referenda or Survey Questions
Over 150 Radcliffe girls signed up for volunteer social work in a weeklong drive which ended yesterday.
Preference cards are not all in yet, Community Service Chairman Jane Larsen '50 said last night, but a survey of those already collected indicated that settlement house work, a perennial favorite, remains in first place. Reading for the blind is second in popularity.
The Community Service Committee will spend the next few weeks sorting preference cards and matching times and activities.
Girls who missed this drive may still sign up for work any time during the term, Miss Larsen said, but late volunteers must take their chances on getting first choice positions.
