The United States Army announced yesterday the opening of a campaign for the procurement of college-trained technicians for its commissioned ranks. The Army made known a list of 68 specialities in which vacancies now exist. Openings presently available range from bacteriology to highway traffic engineer.

The requirements for a commission are that the applicant be between 21 and 26 years old, and that he hold a master's or doctor's degree, or a bachelor's degree with three years practical experience. Further details may be obtained at any Army office or post.
