Bill Mckray, who schedules basketball games for the Boston Garden, has another fine double hesder on top tomorrow night. DePaul faces Boston College at 7:45 p.m., and Harvard and Dartmouth meet at 9:30. It will be the second Ivy League contest for both the Crimson and the Green.
The Indians come up for the 44th game in this series which started in 1901 they have won 3b times) with seven wins, three losses, and a 48-47 victory ever Cornell in their only League start.
This record is somewhat misleading. Dartmouth's success has been in large part against small and/or mediocre schools St. Ansebu's, Vermont. Middlebury, Amherst. Three of the best teams in the country Holy Cross, Duquesne, NYU have inflicted the losses.
Close Game Expected
Tomorrow's game ought to be a fairly even one. Both teams are comparatively slow and Dartmouth is weak defensively. The Indians have height but their tall men have had very little varsity experience.
Bill Biggs and Len Hedberg are Dartmouth's top scorers, along with Red Rowe, Lampe's prize end this fall and number one substitute on his basketball team. Missing, however, is last year's star, Ed Leede, holder of almost every Dartmouth scoring record, who is now playing with the Boston Celties.
Covey Injured
There may he one change in Harvard's lineup. Dick Covey injured his ankle early in the Army game and X-rays taken yesterday show a had sprain, though no fracture. He may be ready for part-time work, but it is doubtful whether he can play a full game.
