Students Get An Extra Day At Mid-Term

Students will enjoy one more day of mid-year recess this February, Sargent Kennedy '28, Registrar, announced yesterday. All classes will register on Tuesday, February 7, instead of Monday, as originally scheduled.

First meetings of courses will be Wednesday, February 8.

Simplified registration cards, first used in February 1949, are responsible for the change. Last year it was found that tabulation of the new cards took only one day instead of the two previously required.

Men with names from A to L can sign up from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., M to Z between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., and late arrivals from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Registering for sections will take place between 2:30 and 4 p.m.

The College will continue the practice, begun last February, of making students sign their own cards to prevent registration by proxy.

Final study cards are due on February 14, one week after registration. Term bills, which will be sent out Friday, January 20, must be paid by February 10.
