Hockey Team Meets Army, Seeks Fourth Win of Season

By Douglas M. Fouquet

Crimson skaters, somewhat defiated by Tuesday night's 8 to 3 loss to Brown, travel to West Point's Smith Rink to meet the Cadets tomorrow night in Harvard's seventh game of the season.

This game will undoubtedly be a good deal easier than the first two away games; both against Brown's strong team. Army, never much of an eastern hockey power, has lost both its games in 1950; 12 to 3 to Brown a week ago and 8 to 0 to Yale Wednesday night.

Despite Harvard's second and third period collapse Tuesday against Brown, Coach John Chase plans to stick with the revised forward lineup he sent against the Brains. "The team never looked better than it did in the first period Tuesday," Chase said yesterday.

The main reason for Chase's preference of the Tuesday night arrangement is that right wing Bill Garrity is needed on the first line. "We have to combine Garrity's scoring punch with a good center," Chase said, "and the only center that can set him up is Myles Huntington of the first line."

Doug Anderson, wing in the third line, will not be able to make the Army trip. Chase will start sophomore Morgie Hatch in his place.

The lineups: HARVARD    ARMY Chase  g  Harris Allen  ld  Johnson Carman  rd  Weber Dl Blasio  lw  Morrison Huntington  c  Bonfrey Garrity  rw  Lind
