Metropolitan League competition again proved too much for the varsity squash team last night as the University Club gained a 4-1 victory in a match played at the club in Boston.
Henry Foster, playing his second game for the Crimson this year, won the only game for the local crew, defeating Albert Vanderhoof in three straight games.
In its last match on Saturday, the varsity, at full strength for the first time this season, beat Amherst 8 to1.
The summary: Waring defeated Hugh Foster (H), 3-0; Salaun defeated Nawn (H), 3-1; Henry Foster (H) defeated Vanderhoof, 3-0; Gorman defeated Bacon (H), 3-1; Tashyian defeated Plimpton (H), 3-0.
