The Hasty Pudding Theatricals yesterday announced the unanimous election of Nicholas Benton '51 of Adams House as chairman of the organization for the coming year and the choice of Townsend Hornor '52 of Lincoln, Massachusetts, as vice-chairman.
Benton will also be vice-president of the Hasty Pudding Club by virtue of his election as head of the Theatricals. This move is designed to bring closer relationships between the two groups, which of late, it has been feared, have been drifting apart.
The new chairman played the lead role in the Pudding's recent "Heart of Gold."
Hornor, who is married and has three children, was program manager of the production this year.
