Beating Princeton, 2 to 1, for its first Ivy League victory, the Debate Council last night started a series of debates on "Resolved, That basic industries be nationalized." William C. Becker '51 and Melvin L. Zurier '50 defended the negative of the topic.

Today the debaters continue their tour, meeting Temple and Pennsylvania.
