Moors Improvises Without Telephones

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Moors Hall residents remained temporarily phoneless yesterday as workmen continued to patch the damage to the central bell desk and adjacent area caused by the $10,000 fire September 16.

Pay stations will be installed on each floor as soon as the telephone company puts its agents on the job, Annex spokesmen said. Meanwhile phone messages taken at the other dormitories will be delivered to Moors.

Callers are received in the converted basement bicycle room on the Walker Street side of the new dormitory. A cowbell will call the girls to meals until repairs are completed on the bell system.
