New Assistant Was Formerly Director of Personnel in N. Y.'s Rockefeller Center

John W. Teele, director of the Office of Student Placement, announced this month the appointment of Alexander Clark as Assistant Director of the Office of Student Placement.

Prior to coming to Harvard, Clark was assistant to the Director of Personnel for Rockefeller Center Inc., in New York. He was born in Greenwich, Conn., graduated from New Canaan High School in New Canaan, Conn., and was a member of the Class of 1940 at Dartmouth College. He was a Captain in the Infantry in World War II and saw service in the Philippine Islands and Japan.

The Office of Student Placement counsels students on careers, maintains a vocational library, and arranges interviews for undergraduates with prospective employers. This Office also presents the annual Harvard Conference on Careers.
