Church bells will ring for Radcliffe's seniors today as they march across Cambridge Common, but they've rung already for the 'Cliffe's top graduate.

She's Anita Maxwell Gil '49, who would receive her degree summa cum laude in Romance Languages this morning if she were on hand to accept it. Instead, she's on her honeymoon with her husband, Peter P. Gil '49.

The majority of the Class of '49's other 32 married seniors--the largest married group ever to march into Sanders--will be present today.
