Two panels of architects, sociologists, and writers will discuss city planning today in Littauer Auditorium. The first group, starting out at 9:30 a.m., will worry about "regional problems." After a break for beer and sandwiches at noon, the planners will start discussion on "the local environment."

The Council for Planning Action is sponsoring the symposium, with lecturers drawn from three Harvard departments, and from the outside world.
