The once proud Eliot slid from fourth to fifth place in the House Baseball League yesterday, losing, 6 to 8 to Dudley.

The seven-hit Commuter attack was led by Bill Goldberg with a homer and Bob Hoffman with a triple.

In softball, Kirkland downed Leverett, 3 to 1, and Dunster overcame Winthrop, 5 to 3.
