Harvard Still On Track To Reach Fossil Fuel-Neutral Status by 2026, Sustainability Report Finds
This is National Camping and Outing Week. In celebration of the rustic occasion, a fourteen-year old out-door Amazon from Pullman, Washington, last week took her well-chewed pencil and laboriously wrote a letter to Cambridge's foremost agricultural college.
Using carefully chosen short words, the robust young lady, Marguerite Miltzow, politely stated that "I have been informed that your college specializes in the field of camping and outdoor information." The letter arrived at the Outing Club office.
Miss Miltzow, who claims she is planning a long camping trip to California next month, asked for "all the information I can get." University officials hastened to comply. Upon receipt of the letter Dean Tuffields Fulloff Barleycorn, head of Harvard A. & M., immediately appointed a committee of four department heads, including the assistant deans of Plowing, Hoeing, Milking, and Fertilization, to aid the girl. They are now busily engaged in sending all of the University's information to Miss Miltzow.
Pullman, Washington, the adventuress' home, has a population of 1403 and is known for lobster races and a recent hockey craze.
