Crimson freshman lacrosse players rallied in vain in the second half of Saturday's Yale game, to lose 8 to 7. The half time score was 7 to 2.

An alert defense held the Eli squad to one point in the second half of the game at Soldiers Field, enabling high scorers Ned Yost, Bob Baldwinfi and Dunc McCallum to close the score.
