'52 Battles Middlesex In Lacrosse Contest

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In its final warmup for Saturday's Yale contest, the freshman lacrosse team takes on Middlesex at 3:45 p.m. today on the Business School Field.

Chances are good that the Crimson will win this afternoon and thus will meet the Eli squad with a record of seven victories and three losses. Middlesex is only in its second year of lacrosse, and the somewhat experienced Crimson ten will have a decided advantage.

First-string starters will probably be Lou Schaffer, Rob Baldwin, and Ned Yost at attack; Godfrey Birckhead. Willie Byrne, and Captain Bill Spence at defense; Pete Brooke, Al Sawyer, and Rip Lynch at midfield; and Dick Thomas at goal.
