Yardling Tennis Team Defeats Andover, 6-3

The freshman tennis team barely squeaked through yesterday afternoon to beat Andover, 6 to 3, in a match marked by extremely close sets. The winners for the Crimson were Dave Aldrich, Gerry Murphy, Roger Swanson, John Tangen, Chase Peterson, and Dick Becker.

Playing later in the afternoon, the second team had a much easier time defeating the New Preparatory School, 9 to 0.
