Progressive Club Closes at Annex

Radcliffe Young Progressives failed to apply for rechartering at yesterday's Student Council session which approved 16 other undergraduate organizations for the coming year. Council also granted a special four year charter to the Annex Choral Society.

The League for Democracy, Radcliffe's only non-partisan political organization, lapsed its charter until the fall, subject to renewal by Council should interest in the club revive. This will permit the League to send a representative to Gedar Hill and be included in the Red Book.

Council approved rechartering for the Annex French Club, which may cease to function as a 'Cliffe club should a University departmental club be formed in the fall. Annex Zionists and the German Club will be renewed by the Council executive board as soon as the proper financial reports and constitution are handed in.
