'52 Track Team To Meet Exeter

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The undefeated freshman track team will cross the New Hampshire boarder this afternoon to take on the strongest squad that Exeter has produced in years.

Field event weaknesses in Carl Olsen's '52 team may show up this afternoon. Exeter's captain, Bob Mello, not only can top 11 feet, 11 inches in the pole vault, but he can also broad jump at least 21 feet, 10 1/2 inches, and win points in the high jump and dashes if called upon.

Exeter also boast a capable weight team. Unlike most years, crew has by paused a few of the brawny preschoolers, whom the "Big Red" coach has used to good avail.

Competition will even be stiff in the running events, the Crimson's forte. Big Jim Branson, Exeter sprinter, clocked the same times in the 100 and 200 yard dashes last week, as the Crimson's star. Dick Weiskopf.
