Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
M. Edward Viola, assistant District Attorney of Cambridge, announced yesterday that charges of disturbing the peace against David B. Hill '51 will be shelved.
Hill, who cracked the old chestnut, "No my father doesn't work for a living--he's a cop" in front of a policeman outside the University Theater two weeks ago, had previously refused to pay a $3 fine ordered by the Third District Court.
With his father, a Belmont attorney, serving as his lawyer, Hill appealed the case to the Cambridge Superior Court. It was postponed last week on the day scheduled for the hearing.
In marking the case "nolo prosequi," the District Attorney's office will not prosecute because of "insufficient evidence to lead to conviction."
Hill offered no comment last night.
