The previously undefeated freshman lacrosse ten dropped its third game of the season to Exeter Saturday at Exeter, New Hampshire, as the prep school players scored ten points to the Crimson's three.
Exeter virtually assured itself of victory by running up a 5 to 1 lead in the first quarter. At the end of the second period the tally was 7 to 2. Substitute goalie Dick Thomas held the winners scoreless in the third quarter, but allowed them three more points in the final period.
The three starting attack players, Ned Yost, Pete Shaffer, and Bob Baldwin, each made one of the three Crimson tallies.
Al sawyer, Rip Lynch, and Pete Brooke started at midfield, and Tom Braeger, Bill Spence, and Ned Maroni started at defense. Opening as goalie was Dunk McCallum.
