Teele Appointed Director of Personnel, Reynolds States

John W. Teele, Director of Student Placement, has been appointed Director of Personnel, Vice-President Reynolds announced last night.

Teele's present jobs include membership on the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, the Committee on Admissions, and the Committee on Administration of the Biochemical Sciences. He is also a former President of the Harvard Engineering Society in New England.

He will succeed Miss Gladys McCafferty, Director of Personnel Relations since 1935. The position is responsible for the centralization of personnel administration, and the establishment of employee benefit plans.

Since his graduation from the Engineering School in 1927, Teele has served as business consultant, financial adviser, and director of several Boston corporations. He is a graduate of the Advanced Management Training Program at the Business School.
